Question: How do people find my website?
Answer:
The Internet address (URL) of your website has the form http://www.palmsmiddleschool.org/illll, where i is your first initial and llll is your last name.
Example: http://www.palmsmiddleschool.org/spull for Sam Pull's website
Let students and parents know where to find your website by mentioning it on Back to School Night, posting the address in your classroom, having students write it down, and including it in your syllabus and handouts. Remind parents at other school events, in paperwork you send home, and anytime they ask you questions that are answered on your website.
People can also find your website on their own by:
- clicking your name on the Teachers page of the Palms website.
- searching for your name using the "Search" box on the home page of the Palms website.
- guessing the address by the first-initial-last-name pattern.
- following links from pages on the Palms website where you are mentioned, such as the page for your elective.
