Question: How do I upload a document?
The instructions cover uploading documents to lockers or locker folders so you can make them downloadable from one of your web pages. If you want to upload your class handouts for the Downloads section on the right side of your main web page, you can more specific instructions under How do I upload my syllabus or other handout?
In general, there are four uses for uploaded files:
- To store a file so you can put a link to it in a Rich Text element on one of your web pages.
- To store a file in a locker so it will appear in a Locker element on one of your web pages.
- To upload an image that will be displayed in a Rich Text element on one of your web pages.
- To upload an image that will be displayed in a slideshow on one of your web pages.
Choice #1 is recommended over choice #2 (see Should I put a locker or rich text on my web page?). The instructions below cover both cases.

Uploading a file into your locker
