Question: How do I make a link to another teacher's web page?

Answer:

Linking to another teacher's web page might be useful if another teacher has useful resources that would help your students, or if you team teach and want to link to the other teacher on your team.

StepInstructionsExample or PictureNotes
1 Select the "clickable text." That's what we'll call the text that you want people to click on.

In this example we'll make Mr. An's name link to his main web page.
Any word or phrase can be set to link to another teacher's web page.
2 Click the Link icon.
3 The Links window will appear.
4 Click on the User Sites tab.
5 Scroll through the teacher list to find the name of the teacher whose page you want to link to.

Click the up-arrow-down-arrow icon (circled here) to reveal that teacher's list of web pages.
If you change your mind, click the X in the top right corner.
6 Click the specific page that you want to link to. Usually it will be the page with the teacher's name, as in this example. The teacher's main web page is the first page listed.

If you change your mind, click the X in the top right corner.
7 The clickable text will now be a link to the web page you chose.
8 Once you publish your updated web page, people who click the link will go to that teacher's web page.
