Question: How do I set my name to Ms. versus Mrs.?

Answer:

By default teachers are given a title of Mr. or Ms. If you prefer Mrs. to Ms. it's not hard to change but it's a two-part process. In Part 1 you update your web page. In Part 2 the system administrator updates your School Loop account.

Below are instructions for changing from Ms. to Mrs. Changing from Mrs. to Ms. works the same way. If we made a mistake in your title when setting up your account, this is how to fix it.

Part 1: Do these steps

1 Go to your main web page.  
2 Click the Properties button next to your name as the page title.  
3 Change the Title, e.g., change it from "Ms. Somebody to "Mrs. Somebody". You can't edit the Add To Section: line. That's what the system administrator will do.
4 Click the Submit button. If you change your mind, click the Cancel button instead.
5 Click the Publish button to publish your website.  
6 Your title will be changed in the heading on web page and in the menu on the left, but not in the menu heading.  

Part 2: Get help from a system administrator

1 Contact Neil Cuadra or another system administrator.

Ask them to change your account to your preferred title: Ms. or Mrs. or Mr.

2 Once the job is done, your title will be changed in all 3 places on your web page.
