Question: Why can't I add an assignment?
Answer:
If you can't add an assignment to your web page then you are not a teacher, or not listed as a teacher in School Loop.
Assignments are a special type of calendar event used by teachers. They are used for classroom assignments with assign dates and due dates, so they make sense for teachers.
If you are a teacher then you will see the Current Assignments element when you choose a new element from your Element Gallery. (See How do I add a page element? in the Page elements section.)
Staff members other than teachers, such as administrators, counselors, and Friends of Palms volunteers, will not see the Current Assignments element when they choose a new element from their Element Gallery. They should use Calendar events instead. (See How do I add a calendar event? in the Calendars section.)
If you are a teacher but still can't add an assignment to your web page, contact Neil Cuadra or another system administrator.
